The Position: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market presence for the Canadian market. Acting as a field-based sales representative with strong customer-facing engagement, this role manages the full sales cycle including prospecting, solution presentation, quotation, and closing. Working closely with application engineers, service teams, and international engineering teams, the Regional Sales Manager develops technically sound and customer-focused solutions. Location: Canada (preferably Montreal, QC or Toronto, ON) Remote / home-based with regular travel within the territory Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute an annual territory management plan Generate and develop new business through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and on-site customer visits Manage and grow existing customer relationships across the assigned territory Conduct regular in-person customer visits (target of 16 on-site visits per month) Present technical solutions to diverse audiences including lab technicians, engineers, production managers, and technical leadership Qualify opportunities, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close business Deliver live or virtual product demonstrations in collaboration with application engineering Use CRM daily for lead management, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and activity reporting Partner with internal technical teams and international engineering resources Monitor competitor activity and provide timely market feedback to sales leadership Maintain strong knowledge of products, applications, customer needs, and market trends Perform administrative and reporting responsibilities associated with the role Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as mechanical, electrical, materials, biomedical, or chemical engineering, physics, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in outside technical sales of capital equipment Experience in test & measurement, analytical instrumentation or related industries preferred Strong communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical contacts Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles High level of personal discipline, organization, and time management Familiarity with ASTM / ISO standards related to mechanical or materials testing is a plus Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software Proficiency in French is considered a strong asset Willingness to travel approximately 30–50 percent within Canada Valid driver’s license and ability to meet standard driving requirements Benefits: Competitive salary and uncapped commission plan Paid time off...
