Product Sales Manager – Waterjet & DMS Machines

The candidate:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Product Sales Manager for the Waterjet and DMS machines. In this role, you will manage and develop a dealers’ network nationally. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role selling the same products. Has a strong work ethic, is goal-oriented, is able to work independently, and travels within the United States to meet with customers.
To be successful in this role you need:
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the industry with a proven track record;
- Prior experience selling Waterjet cutting systems and deburring-finishing machines;
- Proven leadership ability, excellent customer service, sales, and communication skills;
- Works well in a team environment but is also able to be effective working independently;
- Must travel 60 – 70% within the A valid driver’s license is required.
The responsibilities:
As a Product Sales Manager, you will:
- Grow the dealer’s network for the sale of water-jet cutting systems, pressure intensifiers, and dry or wet deburring and satin finishing machines by identifying new prospective customers and increasing the sales of the CMS products for the existing clients;
- Scheduling frequent in-person visits to current and prospective customers, preparing quotations, work closely with the company’s engineer to provide the best solutions for the clients;
- Effectively implement new product launches in the territory;
- Train dealer’s personnel on product knowledge and sales techniques;
- Communicate market conditions and competitive information to management regularly;
- Represent the company at national trade shows and attend periodic national sales meetings at the corporate
