About the position
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing complex enterprise opportunities within targeted retail segments. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers, you will guide customers through the entire sales cycle, from strategic account planning and prospecting to contract negotiations and long-term account growth. In addition to driving new logo acquisition, you will play an important role in expanding existing customer relationships and helping retailers achieve their operational and digital transformation goals through Pricer’s portfolio of solutions.
This position reports to the VP of Sales and is based at the company’s US HQ in Atlanta, GA. Travel of up to 60% is expected, primarily throughout North America.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for a targeted portfolio of enterprise retail customers
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue high-value opportunities aligned with Pricer’s ideal customer profile
- Generate qualified pipeline through prospecting, industry networking, referrals, partner relationships, and market intelligence
- Own opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through contract execution
- Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business leaders
- Lead executive-level conversations around operational efficiency, labor optimization, pricing accuracy, customer experience, and digital transformation
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving operations, IT, merchandising, finance, procurement, and executive leadership teams
- Develop compelling business cases, ROI analyses, and presentations that demonstrate measurable value
- Identify opportunities to expand Pricer’s footprint across stores, regions, business units, and solution portfolios
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Delivery, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure customer success and business growth
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce
- Provide competitive intelligence, market insights, and customer feedback to help shape business strategy and future innovation
- Uphold the company’s vision, mission, values, and policies with top-notch customer service and high integrity in every task
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- 7+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or solution-selling experience
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in enterprise sales environments
- Demonstrated success selling complex technology solutions to large retail organizations
- Experience closing high-level technology transactions
- Background in selling SaaS, software, retail technology, automation, infrastructure, or digital transformation solutions
- Strong executive presence and experience engaging C-level decision-makers
- Deep understanding of retail operations, value-based selling, financial drivers, and ROI analysis
- Ability to build compelling business cases that demonstrate measurable business outcomes
- Proven ability to develop strategic account plans that drive long-term growth
- Strong opportunity management, pipeline development, and forecasting discipline
- Experience with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, Strategic Selling, or Value Selling
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and modern sales technologies
- Familiarity with AI, analytics, and data-driven sales practices is a plus
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly accountable, with a strong hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
