About the Role

We are looking to add a skilled Burner Service Technician to a growing service team supporting industrial boiler and burner systems in commercial environments.

This is a field-based role offering a high level of autonomy. You’ll manage your own schedule and travel directly from home to customer sites in a fully equipped service van — no need to report to a shop first.

What You’ll Do

  • Install and commission industrial burner systems, including control panels and wiring
  • Design and install gas line connections, including regulators and venting
  • Perform start-ups, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Troubleshoot issues such as ignition failures, combustion problems, water issues, and high CO levels
  • Conduct inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with applicable codes
  • Perform system teardowns, burner removals, and boiler tube inspections
  • Support permitting, design registration, and approvals in coordination with internal teams and regulatory authorities
  • Stay current with advancements in burner and boiler technology to improve system performance and efficiency
  • Complete service documentation and reports accurately and on time
  • Provide on-call support as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Class A Gasfitter (Red Seal)
  • 5+ years of experience working with industrial hot water and steam boilers and burner systems (gas, oil, and combination)
  • Strong experience with burner controls, combustion systems, and instrumentation
  • Experience with linkage-less control systems (AutoFlame, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

What’s in It for You

  • High level of independence and autonomy in your work
  • Fully equipped service van — go directly from home to job sites
  • No daily commute to a central facility
  • Work on complex industrial systems across a variety of projects
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Comprehensive benefits plan and retirement matching
  • Long-term growth opportunities within a stable and growing company
