Regional Sales Manager Northeast

For further growth and continued success, the RSM Northeast will be in charge to develop and grow the assigned territory. The ideal candidate has a technical background and a hunter mentality to close deals with a longer sales cycle. Our client is looking for an energetic and dynamic team player who works well in a small company environment. The role reports to the Director of Sales.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work through various sales channels to sell industrial combustion, emissions testing equipment and accompanying software solutions.
- Direct sales and cold calling; from small companies to international organizations.
- Develop a sales plan and strategy for reaching sales quota.
- Introduce products to existing and new markets.
- Manage CRM and provide regular sales reports.
- Frequent travel throughout territory (about one week per month).
- Responsible for effective technical presentations and product demonstrations as part of the overall sales effort and customer relationship building.
- Increase/maximize sales to existing accounts while establishing new accounts (70/30 ratio).

Candidate Profile
- Experience selling in industrial markets.
- Must have experience conducive to understanding end-user applications, recognizing customer needs, and presenting solutions based on available products.
- Must be a team player and possess the independence of an experienced sales professional.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and confidently present and detail them to management and customers.
- Relationship building skills are essential to this position.
- Positive and motivated attitude to drive sales through all channels, along with the ability to quickly learn, apply, and present technical information.
- Excellent communicator with strong negotiating skills; some college preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with end users and/or direct sales customers, and to represent the company at trade shows, professional groups, and technical associations.
