The Role:

 

 

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll lead sales initiatives across your assigned territory, driving revenue and market penetration in packaging equipment machinery. You will manage existing relationships, develop new business, and function as a trusted advisor to clients across the packaging sector.

 

 

 

The Responsibilities:

Territory & Account Management

 

 

  • Manage and expand sales within existing accounts and identify new prospects in your region.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, coordinating activities with internal teams—Sales Engineers, Marketing, Technical, Operations—to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Visit customer sites regularly to understand needs, present proposals, and follow up on equipment delivery, installation, and service.

 

 

Sales Process & Strategy

 

 

  • Lead the full sales cycle, including needs assessment, proposal, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Develop and implement account-specific strategies and sales plans to meet targets and grow business. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels within customer organizations (e.g., engineering, operations, purchasing).
  • Deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and prepare business reviews to communicate value and drive adoption.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

 

 

  • Work closely with internal teams—engineering, customer service, applications, marketing—for solution development and seamless project execution.
  • Act as a strong team player, collaborating with colleagues across functions to deliver unified solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & CRM Management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate pipelines, forecast sales, and document customer interactions.
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales, growth opportunities, and pipeline progress.

 

Requirements

 

 

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in machinery, equipment, or industrial sectors. Packaging industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly with blow molders, fillers, labelers, shrink-wrappers, and end-of-line equipment.
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and developing new business.
  • Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and present value-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on territory growth and account expansion.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and geographies.
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to commit to frequent travel (50–75% or more) within the assigned region; travel outside the region may also be required.
