National Sales Manager – RadioPharma Diagnostics

OVERVIEW:
The National Sales Manager – Radiopharma Diagnostics will be responsible for driving sales growth of specialized equipment used in the production and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals for GMP Production Centers, Nuclear Medicine Departments, Hospitals, and Research Institutions throughout North America.
This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within GMP production facilities, nuclear medicine hospitals, and research institutions. The objective is to understand customers’ unique needs, deliver tailored solutions, and contribute to the continued growth of the client’s market share in the radiopharmaceutical production equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs and preferences of potential customers.
Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve booking and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and market positioning initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in radiopharmaceutical companies, nuclear medicine facilities, hospitals, and research institutions.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients on product offerings and address their business needs.
Product Knowledge
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s radiopharmaceutical production equipment and stay informed on advancements within the industry.
- Effectively communicate technical features, benefits, and value propositions to prospective customers.
Sales Presentations
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations showcasing the features and benefits of Comecer’s equipment and solutions.
- Address client inquiries and concerns by providing accurate, timely, and professional information.
Customer Support
- Work cross-functionally with the Service Team and other internal departments to provide ongoing support to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing issues and supporting successful project implementation.
Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales calls, pipeline development, forecasts, and progress toward sales targets.
- Generate regular reports for management to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

All managers are responsible for creating a positive safety culture and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. It is the responsibility of each manager to ensure that employees receive regular training regarding health, safety, and environmental matters. Each manager is also accountable to ensure that HSE matters are addressed in a timely manner and that compliance with both legislative and corporate requirements are maintained.
Manager responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environment compliance
- Hold team members accountable for health, safety, and environmental compliance as part of the annual performance review process
- Ensure that the requirements of the health, safety and environment management system are implemented and maintained
- Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits as required by the legislative framework and/or corporate requirements
- Ensure that training is provided to all departmental employees as per the established training matrix.
- Implement appropriate corrective measures for unsafe conditions and unsafe acts
- Ensure that appropriate equipment, materials, and protective devices are provided and maintained in safe condition
- Provide information, instruction, and supervision to employees
- Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomed, or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific equipment industry.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex scientific and engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a sales team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales skills, and relationship-building abilities to successfully promote and sell radiopharmaceutical production equipment.
- Must be eligible and able to travel domestically & internationally within 30 days from hire date and legally eligible to operate a vehicle, as this is an essential job function.
