DMV USA Inc. is part of an international industrial group specialized in high-precision stainless steel and nickel alloy tubes. As the Houston plant continues to grow through ongoing investments, DMV is strengthening its maintenance organization to support higher performance and long-term operational stability.

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to improve equipment reliability and establish a structured, preventive maintenance approach. The role focuses on preventive maintenance planning, spare-parts optimization, CMMS utilization, maintenance KPIs, and close collaboration with production, engineering, and external suppliers.

The position requires continuous interaction with the Maintenance Manager, maintenance teams, purchasing, Engineering, and external suppliers and contractors. Clear and effective communication is essential to coordinate activities, manage maintenance-related contracts, and ensure alignment with plant objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a structured preventive maintenance plan in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Ensure optimization of spare parts inventory and availability of critical components.
  • Introduce and manage digital maintenance tools (e.g., CMMS) aligned with group standards.
  • Monitor maintenance performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate execution of plant revamping projects and support new technical investments.
  • Facilitate training and development of maintenance staff to improve technical capabilities.

 

Tasks:

  • Analyze recurring equipment failures and propose technical solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Prepare and update preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
  • Review and adjust spare parts stock levels; manage procurement with the purchasing department.
  • Configure and maintain CMMS software; ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Collect and analyze maintenance KPIs; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors for project execution; supervise on-site activities.
  • Assist in technical evaluations for new equipment and investment projects.
  • Deliver training sessions and provide hands-on support to maintenance technicians.

 

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, or Masters, in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related field
  • 4 – 10 years maintenance/reliability experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and CMMS systems
  • Strong familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance
  • Ability to communicate technical information cross functionally
  • Able to work safely around heavy machinery and in a plant environment
  • Spanish preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: USD 90,000 – 115,000
  • 15% bonus
