About the Position

As Key Account Manager, you will work closely with customers, internal sales colleagues, and project management teams to develop existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and support long-term growth across selected defense and protection segments. We expect you to collaborate both with internal stakeholders across the European sales and project management teams and external stakeholders such as OEMs in the vehicle and naval sectors, as well as Ministries of Defense in different countries. To be successful in this position, you should have strong relationship-building skills, technical curiosity, a structured sales approach, and the ability to navigate both strategic and operational sales processes.

This remotely-based role reports directly to the CRO EMEA. Up to 50% travel across Europe is expected.

 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage key customer relationships across Europe
  • Support continued growth in the ground vehicle segment and help strengthen Integris’ position with existing customers
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including new platforms and customer derisking initiatives
  • Drive business development within naval, personal protection, law enforcement, and aerospace segments
  • Expand the customer database and convert new prospects into long-term partners
  • Navigate value-based selling processes and balance operational, tactical, and strategic sales activities
  • Work with both end-users and OEMs through prescription missions and direct sales approaches
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders throughout complex project processes and keep focus on agreed goals, timelines, and customer expectations
  • Plan and execute sales activities in line with the strategic platform and agreed tactical initiatives
  • Monitor market opportunities and challenges and act on relevant commercial developments

What We Expect from You
Your Work Experience, Education, & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of sales experience, ideally within defense or a related technical industry
  • Experience from an internationally oriented manufacturing company is a big plus
  • Strong technical curiosity and the ability to understand materials, processes, and complex customer requirements
  • Solid business understanding and a clear commercial mindset
  • Experience with value-based selling and the ability to manage longer, more complex sales processes
  • Ability to build trust, establish long-term relationships, and motivate both external stakeholders and internal teams
  • Structured way of working, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow through
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Fluent in German and professional English proficiency, both written and spoken
