We are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales USA – Pharma Packaging to lead Hoffmann Neopac’s commercial growth strategy in North America. About the Role

Hoffmann Neopac is seeking a commercially driven and hands-on sales leader to accelerate growth across the North American pharmaceutical and oral care tube packaging market by driving strategic business development, strengthening long-term customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.

An existing network within the North American pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging industry, combined with the ability to actively develop new business opportunities, will be critical for success in this position.

Reporting directly to Group Management in Switzerland, this individual will have the opportunity to help shape and execute Hoffmann Neopac’s commercial growth strategy in North America while operating with a highly visible and entrepreneurial mandate.

In addition to managing and developing strategic customer relationships, the successful candidate will lead the local U.S. sales team consisting of two Sales Managers and collaborate closely with the operations team in Wilson, North Carolina.

This is a remote position with regular travel to customers across North America and a monthly presence at the Wilson production site.

 

Key Responsibilities

Drive profitable revenue growth in the North American pharmaceutical and oral care tube market

  • Develop and execute a clear commercial growth strategy aligned with Group objectives
  • Identify and develop new pharma customer relationships across North America
  • Leverage an existing industry network to accelerate market penetration and business development
  • Manage and grow strategic customer accounts together with the local sales team
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with key customers
  • Lead, coach, and develop the local U.S. sales team consisting of two Sales Managers
  • Support the continued development and expansion of the U.S. commercial organization
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and Group functions to ensure excellent customer support and execution
  • Act as the primary commercial interface between the North American market and Group leadership in Switzerland
  • Promote accountability, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Represent Hoffmann Neopac at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings

 

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical packaging sales, ideally within tubes, primary packaging, drug delivery, flexible packaging, or related healthcare packaging segments
  • Existing network and customer relationships within the North American pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
  • Experience leading commercial teams and driving strategic account growth
  • Hands-on commercial leader with a strong drive for business development and customer acquisition
  • Comfortable operating in a lean and entrepreneurial U.S. organization with high visibility and direct impact
  • Exposure to regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare packaging
  • Strong communication skills and credibility with customers, employees, and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively within an international and matrix-oriented organization
  • Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset combined with structured, data-driven decision making
  • Interest and potential to grow into broader U.S. leadership responsibility over time
