About The Role
As Business Segment Manager, you will drive strategic business development and increase sales within your designated market segment, targeting OEMs in the cooling industry. This role will focus on prospecting new opportunities and nurturing existing customer relationships to achieve business growth goals, while collaborating closely with internal teams to create tailored solutions for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of the data center and cooling industries. Travel of up to 40% is to be expected.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales within the designated business segment, focusing on OEMs in the data center and cooling industries
- Identify, prospect, and prioritize potential customers, and build a pipeline of business opportunities
- Maintain and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key OEM clients and ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the sales, engineering, and product teams to provide customers with solutions that meet their needs
- Negotiate contracts, manage pricing strategies, and close deals to achieve revenue goals
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data center and cooling technology and provide technical insights to customers and internal teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt and refine strategies
- Regularly report on sales activities, customer interactions, and overall business development efforts to senior leadership

What We Expect from You
Your Work Experience, Education, Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Min. 5 years of experience in business development and sales management, particularly with OEMs in the data center and cooling industries
- Strong technical background in data centers, cooling systems, or related industries
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers at OEMs
- Proven track record in prospecting, managing long sales cycles, and successfully closing deals
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
- Ability to make analytical decisions that generate growth and meet strategic goals
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM)
