Job Brief:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Miami, FL, with a focus on the South Florida region. The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding market share and fostering relationships with potential clients within the South Florida region. This role also focuses on identifying, targeting, and securing new distributors clients across the USA with a particular emphasis on growing the company’s presence through a new distribution channel.

 

This role is designed for an experienced sales professional with a strategic mindset, capable of identifying growth opportunities, building long-term relationships with customers and distributors, and increasing sales of formwork and shoring solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business development or sales within the construction, concrete formwork, or concrete industries, and a proven track record of working with distribution channels.

 

Your Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., sales, business, engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, particularly in the formwork, shoring, or concrete construction industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on developing distribution channels.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in market analysis and sales forecasting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with potential new distributors clients across the USA and turn this into increased business. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Identify and engage potential non-distributors clients in the construction industry, in Miami and South Florida region, focusing on Residential and Civil works projects. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Create and implement business development strategies aimed at expanding the company’s network of distributors and clients.
  • Increase sales by promoting the company’s formwork and shoring solutions through the new distribution channel.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and deliver solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Maintain and analyze market data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Regularly travel to meet clients, distributors, and industry partners, attending construction sites and industry events as required.
  • Provide training and support to distributors and clients on product benefits and usage.
  • Represent business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events. Use the knowledge of the market, competitors, and customer’s needs to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
