Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of the Company’s Air Pollution Control (APC) business across the United States.
This role offers a high degree of autonomy and will focus on developing new market opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and positioning customized engineered solutions for heavy industrial clients. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with solid technical understanding and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across operations, engineering, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and develop new opportunities within the air pollution control and emissions reduction market across the United States
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with plant managers, EPC firms, engineering companies, and operations leaders within industries such as cement, steel, energy, and related sectors
- Sales & Commercial Leadership: Lead complex, long-cycle sales processes for engineered-to-order industrial solutions; manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment with client specifications and industry standards
- Client & Technical Interface: Act as the key liaison between customers and internal technical teams, translating customer needs into tailored solutions
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments related to emissions and environmental compliance; identify emerging opportunities in target industries

- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills in high-value industrial environments
- Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles
- Effective communication skills bridging technical and commercial stakeholders

- Adaptability to work in a remote environment with close interaction with the European HQ
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development or technical sales of engineered industrial systems
- Strong background in industries such as cement, steel, power, mining, or similar heavy sectors
- Experience or familiarity with Air Pollution Control technologies/emissions systems strongly preferred
- Established network within the US industrial markets and EPCs is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as required
