Our client, Miba, a global technology and manufacturing leader headquartered in Austria, is seeking an experienced finance leader as Head of its North American Shared Services Center.

This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for Finance and IT Shared Services supporting multiple U.S. manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders across North America and Europe while driving operational excellence, process improvement, governance, and organizational development.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Lead and manage the Shared Services Center in McConnelsville, delivering Finance and IT services across the organization
• Act as a strategic business partner to US and MPTM sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment
• Support and collaborate with Senior Accounting, Transactional Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling teams
• Cooperate closely with the IT Team Leader
• Partner closely with the Finance organization in Austria, ensuring alignment with global standards and processes
• Serve as a key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
• Liaise with tax advisors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of finance processes
• Develop, mentor, and empower team members, fostering a high-performance culture, continuous learning, and professional growth

We’re looking for professionals who bring:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Solid understanding of tax principles and regulations
• Proven experience leading process improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives
• Experience working in a multinational environment, ideally with a European parent company
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience with strong decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency with finance systems and tools (e.g., SAP)
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
• High level of initiative, ownership, and assertiveness
• Positive, growth-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

This is an onsite leadership position in McConnelsville, Ohio, approximately one hour southeast of Columbus. Relocation or regular commuting is required. Candidates should carefully evaluate the location and the associated commuting or relocation requirements before submitting their application.
