About Lorraine

Lorraine is a native German with British roots. After completing her vocational education in industrial business management, she joined ZwickRoell, a German machine and instrumentation manufacturer, where she worked for 20 years.

She began her career as an executive assistant and was subsequently promoted to Inside Sales and Sales Team Lead.

In 2013, after 10 years of working in Germany, she moved to the U.S. to work as an Application Engineer. Lorraine then managed the Application Engineering Team, Inside Sales Team, Field Sales Team, and eventually the U.S. Operations Team, comprising 20 employees across Application Engineering, Inside Sales and Service, and the Technical Support Center.

As a former hiring manager, she has several years of recruitment experience, especially for engineering roles.

Having worked for a U.S. subsidiary of a German company, she is uniquely aware of the intercultural challenges YER USA clients face. Lorraine acts as a trusted advisor who truly cares about her clients’ success and offers a practical combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and industry knowledge to help her clients build strong professional teams.

In her free time, Lorraine enjoys traveling, trying out new international cuisines, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her dog, Jimmy.
