About Gabriele
A native German, Gabi is a natural entrepreneur. In 2010, she founded CityKinder, a lifestyle and community platform for German-speaking parents in the New York Metro area, offering advice and support on how to navigate their new environment.
She is also the founder of ICH BIN EXPAT, a platform dedicated to supporting German-speaking expats settling in the U.S. Through this platform, Gabi has built one of the largest private networks of German-speaking expats, including individual immigrants, German businesses, and organizations in the U.S.
Prior to joining YER USA, she worked as a Director of Corporate Sales for the Concorde Hotels and Kempinski Hotels. As an active member of the German American Chamber of Commerce, Gabi is passionate about networking and community building. Gabi applies insights gained from building her own company and her extensive network to support her clients in their international expansion journey.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring New York’s cultural offerings, from Broadway shows to concerts and ethnic festivals, as well as traveling.
