About Katie

A native of Germany, Katie studied business management at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg and holds a master’s degree in health and social management from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.

Before joining YER USA in 2015, she served as an account manager and recruiter at a multinational staffing agency. She also held various positions in the hospitality industry, including leadership, guest services, and sales.

With over 11 years of recruitment experience, Katie’s passion for connecting people and businesses with opportunities extends beyond her professional life.

As a Governing Board member for the International Charter School of Atlanta, she actively supports its mission to prepare students for success through multilingualism and cultural immersion. Additionally, as a community representative for Ayusa, a nonprofit foreign exchange student program, Katie provides guidance to host families and international students

In her free time, Katie enjoys running, playing tennis, skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and two kids. She also volunteers with ‘Back on My Feet,’ a non-profit that uses running to help people experiencing homelessness achieve self-sufficiency.
