National Sales Manager

Our client, Erie Architectural Products, part of a global leading organization in the building and construction industry, is seeking a North American Sales Manager / Director, to join the company’s leadership Team. (this is an onsite position based out of the Greater Detroit, MI or Windsor ON locations!)

As the National Sales Manager / Director you will lead the company’s sales team and strategy throughout Canada and the United States.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of sales representatives as well as estimators and project leads.
  • Develop and monitor individual territory plans with each sales team member.
  • Grow the sales team by recruiting and hiring new colleagues.
  • Hands-on management of sales cycles, processes and implementation of the sales plan.
  • Lead generation, prospecting, bidding processes, customer presentations, etc.
  • Work closely with customers and the estimating team to determine optimal solutions and pricing strategy.
  • Oversee sales and other relevant management reporting.

 

What We Expect from You

Your experience & education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Associate’s degree at minimum in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the large architectural building projects sector required.
  • Experience in glazing and aluminum structures architecture, highly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience, leading a sales team in a B2B environment, overseeing quota-carrying sales reps.

 

Skills, Traits & Style

  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities, and time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in an international work environment.
  • A hands-on, open-minded, versatile, enthusiastic can-do attitude while embracing continuous learning.
  • Able to travel overnight on a regular basis.
