Your Impact:

 

As an Electrical Technician at Truetzschler, you play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of American Truetzschler equipment at customer sites, promoting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Terminating control and power supply to machinery and control panels.
  • Diagnosing the cause of electrical malfunctions or failures of operational equipment and correcting such issues.
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Analyzing and interpreting electrical testing results to ensure proper functionality.
  • Recommending or initiating modifications or replacements for equipment that fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
  • Providing customer training regarding the operations of electrical components and equipment controls.
  • Travel extensively to customer sites for fieldwork and on-road responsibilities.

 

Candidate Profile:

 

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Using precision measuring instruments to test electrical systems and ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshooting electrical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Reading, analyzing, and interpreting schematics and technical procedures.
  • Writing reports and business correspondence.
  • Effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • Utilization of tools and devices including power and hand tools, testing devices, volt amp meters, and oscilloscopes
