As a Business Development Manager you will be driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Throughout the process, you will work together with the Sales Team and report to the Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the opportunities from customers within the process industry
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging existing networks
- Visit prospects facilities to spot opportunities improving existing production lines
- Develop a solid relationship with existing and potential key accounts
- Proactively look for new opportunities and accounts within the process industry in accordance with the established company strategy
- Negotiate, interpret and close contracts with customers
- Train new members of the sales team
- Extensive travel for commercial visits
Qualifications
- In possession of a higher technical degree (Bachelor/Master’s)
- You have 7+ years of relevant experience in a sales role within the process industry
- Industry knowledge of food and/or chemical related customers
- Commercially driven and able to negotiate in a B2B environment
- You possess good analytical-, creative- and communication skills
- You like to work independently but are a team player as well
