About Robert

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Robert has been working in the recruitment industry for most of his professional life in a variety of commercial roles. After earning his associate’s degree in Dutch Federal Law, he joined one of the world’s largest multinational human resource consulting firms and worked from both the American and Dutch offices for over 15 years.

After starting as a consultant, he swiftly progressed to become a branch manager and then a district manager. Later, he transitioned to the technology division, where he worked as a sales director before eventually becoming the managing director within the engineering division. Throughout his career, Robert gained experience in managing teams, creating training manuals, and even starting a new office.

Before joining YER USA, he also worked for a nationwide staffing agency in the U.S. - In his current role as Director Dutch Desk, Robert focuses on engineering skill sets and leverages his experience working for a European company to advise and guide Dutch clients in the U.S. getting the right match for their personnel needs.

In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with his kids, his partner, and their Airedale dog in California. He also enjoys traveling and watercolor painting.
