The products are distributed in approximately 40 countries, mainly in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Position

The scope of the role is to contribute to the business strategy and results’ sustainability, defining the Country Commercial strategic targets as well as choices and implementing programs, operative projects, in coherence with Global Commercial Targets and Choices. The US CEO will define and achieve commercial development and profitability targets in terms of EBIT, cash flow across the assigned markets by managing the P&L, optimizing human, financial and economic resources in accordance with assigned targets and identified operative choices. Other relevant tasks for the position include, but not limited to:

  • Manage the commercial strategy by also providing inputs and recommendations to the Commercial and Marketing teams and other functions involved in the process.
  • Provide inputs and addressing dedicated commercial development projects in order to ensure consistent highest standard quality visibility of brands across the US as well as achieve profitability targets and business objective.
  • Monitor the strategy execution and related KPI’s, set up mitigation actions and reviewing contingency plans, in accordance with the indications promptly provided by Brand Commercial Strategy Teams and Planning in order to meet the targets assigned.
  • Manage the Sales OPS by participating in pricing meetings, working closely with the Sales Operations Team and Finance Analysis Team in order to ensure the achievement the required margins and profitability targets.
  • Manage Trade Marketing activities, ensure and addresses the executions of TM initiatives within the commercial areas assigned by implementing global approved projects as well as evaluating local opportunities and developing ad hoc projects, in according to the brand strategy and distribution guidelines.
  • Financial and Accounting responsibility, working closely with Financial and Accounting teams. Evaluate and monitor the commercials results and progression for assigned markets, assessing risks and issues, addressing mitigation actions and reviewing contingency plans and solutions as needed, with the scope of meeting the targets assigned.
  • Cooperate and work closely with the Corporate and Legal Affairs in order to draw up and authorise thirds parties’ contracts and agreements in accordance with the legal and regulatory requirements as well as the company guideline and procedures.
  • Monitor and review the assigned suppliers’ contracts in term of adherence to technical, quality requirements and services level agreements, alongside with Line Managers.
  • People Management and Growth responsibilities, mainly by promoting at all levels the awareness of the company’s vision.

 

  • 10+ years of experience in the fast fashion or accessories industry at a minimum of VP level with a record of exceeding goals.
  • Familiarity in working in an international environment and experience in interaction with European HQ.
  • Knowledge of commercial needs per channel/market/geographic area.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication techniques.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Tactical skills to ensure that results are achieved by method and accountability of the whole team.
