In order to facilitate the continued growth in the North American market, Oventrop Corporation is looking for a Territory Sales Engineer/Manager West Coast – mainly covering the Portland/Seattle area. Reporting directly to the President and Head of Sales North America, you will be tasked with increasing sales in your territory by building strong relationships with wholesalers and engineers in the industry.

You will be a good fit for this newly created position if you are an efficient self starter with go getter mentality, possess a strong sales mentality, require minimal supervision and bring a strong mechanical/hydronics sales background with prior experience selling valves and controls to the building services industry.


  • Increase sales for the West Coast USA territory
  • Build strong relationships with wholesalers and engineers in the building services industry, especially the HVAC segment
  • Present the products to intended audiences and value position them against the competition
  • Work closely with all HQ functions in CT in order to facilitate an utmost professional sales and distribution process


  • Sales or business degree with a strong technical background
  • Must have technical expertise in hydronics, especially valves
  • Demonstrated success in selling mechanical products to the building service industry
  • Prior experience in selling valve assemblies highly preferred
  • Contacts within the West Coast building services industry and wholesalers highly desired
  • Demonstrated self starter mentality coupled with outstanding sales acumen
  • Strong technical presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of customers
  • Familiar with home office setting
  • Willingness and able to travel 50-80% of the time within the Seattle-Portland area with occasional trips to other areas within the territory as required
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
