Strategic Marketing Manager

On behalf of our client, an international company employing over 500 people in the US subsidiary, manufacturing cosmetics for major beauty labels, we are looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager.

Our client is a multinational company, leader in contract manufacturing cosmetics and offers the same high-quality standards and technology with a global presence and local approach through 15 commercial offices and 15 production facilities in 12 countries. It is the largest supplier in the cosmetic industry and the most important player in R&D and production of beauty products in the world. Season after season, the company interprets beauty, creating lines of products from brands in every corner of the globe.


As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will oversee all facets of new product development for the internal US product collections and initiatives. Additionally, you’ll maintain crucial cross-functional relationships with global marketing and product development teams.


Areas of Focus:

  • Become the US product category expert for the Mascara Business Unit.
  • Drive US Trend Stories product collection development.
  • Provide support to the US account development team for emerging “indie” brands.
  • Assist the Brazil sales and marketing team in local collections and events.


Key Responsibilities:

I Marketing Brand Strategies: Develop comprehensive brand strategies for targeted market segments.


II Marketing Intelligence:

  • Conduct market data collection and interpretation.
  • Oversee local competitive analyses and trend scouting.
  • Track global portfolio sales to enhance local strategies.


III Product Development:

  • Expand and maintain the US mascara product catalogue.
  • Lead ideation and development of US Trend Stories product collections.
  • Support the Brazil team in their product developments


IV Business Development:

  • Create customized presentations for key client meetings.
  • Assist sales in product selection and client formula developments.
  • Develop brand strategies, including market and brand data analysis.
  • Train sales/account development teams and present products at events.


Experience & Core Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of product development and marketing experience in the beauty industry.
  • Passion for beauty and fashion trends.
  • Strong adaptability, flexible thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.



  • Fluent in English; Italian proficiency is advantageous.
  • Must have US work authorization.
  • Position involves bi-monthly commuting to NY facilities; travel expenses covered.
  • Flex working arrangement (30%-40% remote, 60%-70% office).
  • In-person presence required; no domestic or international relocations.


Compensation: $90-100k
