On behalf of one of our international clients, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, YER USA is looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst/Sr. Cost Accountant based out of Buford, GA.

Job description

In your role as a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be reporting to the Manager Regional Controlling and you will be assisting him with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as the forecast and other tasks as listed below. You will be successful in this role with your analytical and detail-oriented mind-set. Our client is looking for a self-motivated SAP expert with a strong financial background in a fast-paced manufacturing (ideally automotive) environment who needs minimal guidance or supervision.

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Draw up the forecast and plan together with relevant managers
  • Process, check and analyze tasks from the assigned area, e.g., cost analysis and cost margin analysis
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, e.g., evaluation of inventories
  • Carry out monthly reporting including deviation analysis
  • Analyze product costing profitability and production order variances
  • Oversee and manage internal costing including standard costing
  • Ensure accurate master data by analyzing material consumption and pricing
  • Follow up on group KPI’s such as labor efficiency, cost center discharging, profitability reports
  • Crate and comment on reports and derive relevant measures
  • Create business management analysis
  • Create inventory and capacity analysis
  • Control and coordinate CAPEX

Candidate profile

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or financial analyst
  • Degree in accounting/finance/business/economics preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (ideally in automotive)
  • Strong cost accounting background (cost monitoring, profitability, inventory, capacity analysis, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong SAP CO and GAAP knowledge
  • Experience working for an international matrix organization (ideally with German HQ)
