What You’ll Be Doing

As a key strategic team member, you will expand the network through Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs), and technology partners. In your role as the Senior Partner Manager, you will build value by developing and managing relationships with current partners in North America and identifying sales opportunities for mutual benefit. Focusing on corporate partnerships and alliances, you will drive business growth, revenue, and ARR. This role requires a seasoned professional to enhance market presence, cultivate long-term partnerships, and generate new business opportunities.

This role is based in Atlanta, GA and reports directly to the VP Global Partner Business. Expected travel up to 50%.

Partnership Management in North America:

  • Drive partner development and build a strong business network
  • Identify opportunities, qualify leads, and transition to Direct Sales or help partners close sales directly

Identify, Drive, and Push Partner-Sourced Opportunities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at VARs, SIs, and technology partners, acting as the primary liaison
  • Regularly evaluate partnership effectiveness, providing feedback and strategic recommendations for optimization
  • Manage partner-sourced sales opportunities, including forecast and pipeline calls
  • Facilitate collaboration between Configit and partner sales teams from contact to contract closure
  • Support joint customer presentations, proposals, and contracts with a focus on quality and speed

Sales Forecast and Pipeline Maintenance:

  • Manage and update sales forecast and pipeline in Salesforce for partner-sourced cases
  • Identify new partnership opportunities in North America

Marketing Activities:

  • Position Configit solutions as key partner offerings and educate partners on the CLM market
  • Develop and implement joint solutions, go-to-market strategies, and co-marketing initiatives with partners

What We Expect from You

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Enterprise Software Sales, Business Development, or Alliance, with a focus on partner management within the IT and technology sectors, including working with VARs, SIs, and technology partners
  • Solid track record of meeting quarterly and annually sales revenue goals
  • Experience working with global teams (US, Canada, Europe, India etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Nice to Haves:

  • Solid experience and knowledge of PDM/PLM, ERP and CRM/CPQ systems
  • Knowledge of configuration solutions and challenges within discrete manufacturing industries
  • Experience with reselling partners
