The role and the responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from conceptualization to execution.
  • Take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Contribute to design strategy discussions, offering insights and ideas.
  • Stay current with design trends.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, fostering their professional growth and maintaining design consistency across projects.
  • Act like the Brand Ambassador and represent Studio K at trade events.


Your skills and background:

  • Interior Design degree
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a design-related role, with a proven portfolio showcasing a range of projects in the hospitality industry specifically restaurants design is a must.
  • Excellent AutoCAD & Adobe Creative Suite Skills. SketchUp, Enscape, and InDesign a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in working with and sourcing architectural materials/finishes and FF&E
  • Proficient in construction drawing, documentation and oversight
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of Jr.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to feedback, and iterate on designs.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail, a passion for design innovation, and a drive to stay current with industry trends.



Salary range: $90k-$125k
