A Position Where You’ll Be on the Frontlines of Selling High Tech Life-saving Solutions

Our Client TenCate Advanced Armour is seeking a super-driven Sales Manager to help grow the company’s market share in France, Spain, and Portugal.  You will be responsible for marketing and selling TenCate’s full line of survivability products and solutions to existing and new customers throughout the whole value chain in law enforcement, military, and the private sector.  To be successful in this role, you need to have at least 5 years of experience in complex technical solutions sales including selling to government entities. We expect you to have a track record of success and meaningful results in prospecting, market segmentation, business intelligence, identification of targets, qualification processes, and closing the deal. You will be part of a fast-growing and innovative global company with a flat organizational structure that is leading the way in its industry. What you’ll be doing more specifically

As Sales Manager (based in France) you will be responsible for creating and implementing business development strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets in France, Spain, and Portugal, according to TenCate’s EMEA budget goals and strategic plans.  You will work together with the company’s technical teams located at various sites across EMEA to achieve business goals for the assigned region or customer base. The right candidate will bring his/her hunter mentality and market insights to help identify, pursue, and capture new business and will get a thrill from collaborating cross-divisionally with peers and colleagues in the global organization. The right candidate for this position is driven by results and has a robust understanding of business processes.

  • Research and identify market opportunities, develop, and implement strategic growth plans for acquiring new customers
  • Develop forecasts, business plans and meet or exceed financial objectives
  • Develop and execute plans to increase customer base by leveraging and retaining relationships with existing clients to add additional products
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of TenCate’s products and value proposition
  • Write business proposals and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Coordinate outreach activities with TenCate’s Marketing Department to ensure consistency in brand strategy
  • Track and record all customer and prospect interactions in the company’s CRM system
  • Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
  • Attend industry meetings, conferences, and trade shows of interest to TenCate.


What We Expect from You
Your Work Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, marketing, business admin, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven complex technical solution sales is a must along with account management experience.
  • Experience with creating market demand within a value chain from direct customers to end-users
  • Understanding of government contracting and experience in responding to tenders.
  • Fluent in French and English, Spanish is a plus
  • Willing to travel 60%
