On behalf of our client, SEMPERIT, we are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team in North America. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced sales professional, with experience managing and selling products within the industrial and construction profiles and seals industry in the U.S. This is a remote position with expected travel to be up to 60%.

POSITION SUMMARY

 

As the Sales Manager of North America, Profiles, you will be responsible for building new and existing customers throughout the defined territory which includes North America and Canada and within the target customer category of industrial and construction profiles and seals (OEMs, EPC companies). You will be securing orders to effectively meet objectives, ensuring the products meet market demands, and customer requirements and align with the strategic direction of the company.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support the regional (AMR) commercial effort within the construction and industrial seal market for all OEM / EPC customers.
  • Detect and develop new business opportunities both in terms of market coverage, product portfolio, and go-to-market to ensure profitable growth within the defined industry.
  • Utilize CRM tool (Salesforce) as the record of planning, events, activity, and reporting. Update and utilize CRM as per Commercial Excellence guidelines to accelerate and document business growth including existing business and new opportunities.
  • Work effectively with internal support departments to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize Semperit’s visibility within the industry.
  • Identify industry trends and new product norms in the region.
  • Attend conferences and professional association meetings to promote Semperit’s products and the brand.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and report intelligence on competitor pricing, marketing strategies, or activities.
  • Ensure that reports and presentations are provided in a timely manner.
  • Maintain existing customer base and grow profitable growth with new and existing customers.
  • Assist with customer events (tradeshows, fairs, virtual exhibitions, training, etc.) – marketing, customers, and event coordinators.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry sales experience in the construction industry, either in sales or technical sales roles.
  • Experience selling industrial and construction profiles and seals.
  • Experience selling directly to OEMs and EPC companies.
  • Experience working from a remote or home office with minimal supervision.
  • A “Sales Hunter” mentality with a documented history of successfully growing areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills and effective communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Office
  • Willing/flexible to travel to drive business growth. Estimated travel at 60%.
