To expand their successful business in the U.S., our international client is looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record as a hunter of new business as well as successful account manager of existing key accounts.
KEY responsibilities
- Establish and maintain major relationships and generate new business
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs in line with business requirements
- Responsible for all aspects of allocated prospects and customers
- Prepare all aspects of client meetings and presentations to senior procurement and sourcing teams
- Communicate effectively with the US support team and manufacturing plant in Germany
- Develop detailed product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the US packaging market
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed
Candidate profile
- Minimum of 2 years of outside B2B sales experience (packaging industry would be ideal)
- Successful track record of growing territory and sales as well as of increasing and exceeding revenue
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Self-starter personality with strong focus on results
- Presentation and negotiation skills at senior level
- Interest in monitoring of order fulfillment and daily business
