Sales Manager

To expand their successful business in the U.S., our international client is looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record as a hunter of new business as well as successful account manager of existing key accounts.

 

KEY responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain major relationships and generate new business
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs in line with business requirements
  • Responsible for all aspects of allocated prospects and customers
  • Prepare all aspects of client meetings and presentations to senior procurement and sourcing teams
  • Communicate effectively with the US support team and manufacturing plant in Germany
  • Develop detailed product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the US packaging market
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed

 

Candidate profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside B2B sales experience (packaging industry would be ideal)
  • Successful track record of growing territory and sales as well as of increasing and exceeding revenue
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Self-starter personality with strong focus on results
  • Presentation and negotiation skills at senior level
  • Interest in monitoring of order fulfillment and daily business
