Sales Engineer

Poclain Hydraulics B.V. - Hybrid (Etten-Leur, The Netherlands)

Poclain is an independent industrial group specialized in the design, manufacturing and marketing of efficient hydrostatic and electrohydraulic transmissions.

Poclain Hydraulics B.V is recruiting a Sales Engineer for the Netherlands and Dutch-Speaking region of Belgium.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the business with existing customers in their sales territory
  • Prospect new customers, in line with focused markets targeted by the subsidiary
  • Continuously analyze the territory and update sales CRM. Ensure Poclain Hydraulics is aware of all customer projects in given territory
  • Elaborate the technical / commercial propositions of standard products, or custom designed solutions, with respect to Poclain Hydraulics pricing policies
  • Set, follow and fulfill the completion of the commercial action plan, in line with the group and subsidiary targets
  • Make sure that customer forecasts are being represented at Poclain factories
  • Prepare the necessary reporting, such as monthly report or customer visit reports
  • Participate to the achievement of the Key Process Indicators of the subsidiary (Poclain Hydraulics B.V.)
  • Manage the relationship with all customers in a continuous fashion – weekly/monthly/quarterly
  • Work intimately with Application Engineering to make sure that contract review is applied according to group rules
  • Supervise outstanding payments; make sure there is no credit insurance overrun and take the necessary actions as needed
  • Focused activities with distributors to include training and motivating distributor network along with establishing sales commitments
  • Create, prepare and execute a plan for key account management
  • Develop relationships with TOP management and key deciders
  • Contribute to alignment of Poclain Hydraulics technological roadmap
  • Manage scorecard of key accounts with support of its core team

 

Travels:

  • Selected candidate will need to travel as necessary to achieve the corporate goals in the following regions – Netherlands and the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium
