Our client, Savox Communications, seeks a revenue-driven Sales Director to build, lead, and execute the company’s sales strategy and expansion in the United States. About the Role
As Sales Director, you’ll acquire and develop new “Blue Chip” customers, mainly in law enforcement, safety, and security segments, while supporting existing DoD customers. With your sound commercial background, track record in technical sales to public sector segments, and ability to develop channel partners, you understand market opportunities and can translate them into actionable business plans. You’ll be leading a small team of regional sales managers. We expect you to be working alongside your team to open new doors and close sales. With your sales team and support from HQ, you’ll make Savox a well-known brand in the U.S. and the preferred supplier of rugged communications solutions. Your ‘Can-Do’ approach, outside-the-box thinking, and the ability to create long-term customer success will be keys to your success. You should be comfortable in a small, entrepreneurial environment that builds on Trust, Collaboration, Innovation, and Perseverance. Travel of up to 30% is to be expected (mostly domestic, some international). This position will ideally be based at the company’s N.A. headquarters in Raleigh, but Savox is open to a hybrid remote setup. You’ll report to the Group CEO at HQ in Finland.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and execute the company’s sales strategy and market expansion in the United States
- Identify, pursue, and capture new business
- Prepare and manage the annual business plan and budget and take responsibility for the overall financial performance, meeting or exceeding KPIs.
- Inspire and motivate your team to increase the company’s market share by optimizing efficiency and productivity across all sales and marketing processes.
- Lead and develop the US Sales team to enable profitable growth, sustainable business development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, grow, and strengthen the network of channel and OEM partners.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of proposals to customers, including information on pricing, delivery, and terms & conditions of sales, while upholding superior customer service.
- Track and record all customer and prospect interactions including producing monthly and annual forecasting reports as well as sales activity reports.
- Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest market developments.

Qualifications
Your Work Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, commerce, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles in an international company with a proven track record in delivering profitable growth.
- Experience in managing and inspiring high-performing sales teams, communicating vision, and setting goals
- Advanced knowledge of B2G/B2B technical solution selling.
- Robust industry knowledge of Personal Protection Equipment
- Solid experience in channel partner development and management
- Experience in negotiating and understanding complex contracts and government procurement processes.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills along with outstanding stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of various business functions, operations, and processes (sales & marketing, customer service, logistics, supply chain, finance)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system
