 Our client, Kempower, is seeking a self-motivated Sales Director to drive the company’s expansion into the US market where it will rapidly build a team and scale its operations to better serve current and future US-based customers.

As Sales Director you will be responsible for strategy implementation, building, managing, and further developing Kempower’s sales team in the US. The ideal candidate is an energetic forward-thinking professional who thrives in a fast-paced and fast-growing start-up environment. To be successful in this role you need a proven track record in technical product sales – both hardware and software sales—along with building and leading successful sales teams.



  • Build, manage, and develop Kempower’s North American sales team
  • Implement the global sales strategy for North America
  • Define and develop strategies for sales and service partner networks
  • Analyze customer needs, present innovative proposals, and translate them into tangible solutions alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and follow up on sales team performance based on KPIs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers
  • Participate in trade shows, events, and seminars
  • Stay informed on EV and EV charging market trends and propose business models and/or product development initiatives accordingly
  • Negotiate and close agreements, including but not limited to frame and purchasing agreements
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%

What We Expect from You

Your experience & education


  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in technical sales with a proven track record of increasing sales in small or midcap companies
  • Experience in project-based business and product and/or system sales
  • Experience negotiating and understanding complex contracts
  • Ability to lead, manage, and inspire high-performing sales teams, communicating vision and setting goals
  • Experience working in a multinational matrix business environment along with a passion for collaboration with multinational teams
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
