The Sales Account Manager is responsible for supporting the promotion and sale of Yachts under 24 meters across Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Acting as the primary liaison between the factory in Italy and regional dealers, brokers, and clients, this role supports sales activities, coordinates dealer communications and training, gathers customer and market information, and provides product and service support to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

 

General Accountabilities

 

  • Manages and grows existing accounts by maintaining strong client relationships, identifying selling opportunities, and ensuring consistent service quality and satisfaction.
  • Supports the sales of the Yachts below 24 Meters by providing product expertise, coordinating information flow, and assisting dealers throughout the sales process.
  • Assists the direct supervisor with sales proposals and preparations by gathering required information, coordinating documentation, and supporting internal approvals.
  • Identifies new business opportunities by researching markets, monitoring industry activity, and proactively initiating contact with prospective clients and decision makers.
  • Obtains and communicates customer technical needs and supports accurate product positioning and solution development.
  • Develops and maintains effective client relationships through regular communication, account reviews, and proactive support to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Acts as liaison for the dealers by facilitating communication between dealers, the factory, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely responses.
  • Conducts regular accounts reviews to assess client needs, performance, and opportunities for additional products or services.
  • Organizes sales meetings and training sessions with dealers and brokers to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness, without involvement in contract negotiations.
  • Contacts and visits clients to promote a deeper understanding of company products, services, and brand values.
  • Builds up and maintains detailed product knowledge to effectively support dealers and respond to client inquiries.
  • Handles queries related to company products and services by providing accurate, timely, and professional responses.
  • Prepares market, competitor, and trend analyses to support strategic planning and sales initiatives.
  • Attends trade shows and industry events to promote the brand, strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitors sales-related goals to be achieved within defined timeframes, in alignment with management direction.
  • Manages day-to-day client communications to ensure continuity, responsiveness, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned, with the understanding that responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.

 

Requirements

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) with a focus on International Business, Luxury Brand Management, or Maritime Studies preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience in sales, business development, or account management within the luxury sector, preferably in the marine, automotive, or aviation industries.

 

Skills

 

  • Strategic sales planning and business development
  • Strong relationship management and cross-cultural communication
  • Technical understanding of luxury yachts and high-value products
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Salesforce CRM
  • Skilled in training delivery, presentations, and client engagement
  • Fluent in Spanish & Italian proficiency strongly preferred
  • High level of discretion, organization, and professionalism

 

Work Environment

 

  • Primarily office-based with frequent travel throughout North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
  • Regular presence required at marinas, shipyards, and client-facing events (e.g., boat shows, sea trials)
  • International travel to the company headquarters and global events.
  • Availability outside standard business hours may be required to accommodate client and factory time zones.

 

Position Type

 

  • Full Time.
  • Exempt.
  • Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL.
  • Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm (60-minute break for lunch).
  • Weekend availability for events, boat shows, and clients’ visits as required.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

  • Base Salary: $90,000, payable monthly via direct deposit on the 10th of each month.
  • Bonus: $10,000, payable annually at the conclusion of the nautical year, subject to achievement of predetermined performance goals.

  • 6 sick days, 10 vacation days, and 2 personal days annually. Vacation accrual increases with seniority.
