Job Description

For further growth and success, our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment, selling state-of-the-art vision inspection systems “Made in Germany” to the plastic packaging industry throughout the assigned territory is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and assertive salesperson with a good technical understanding and a proven track record selling capital equipment to the Plastics industry. The position will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquiring new customers and maintaining the existing client base
• Identifying customer potential, investment projects, and trends
• Creating, managing, and tracking proposals/quotes
• Participating in customer-related events, such as trade shows
• Tracking of activities and maintaining the ERP System

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience selling capital equipment (ideally vision inspection systems)
• An established network in the plastic packaging industry
• A strong consultative sales approach
• Solid computer skills are a must
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
