Brief

 

As the Regional Sales Manager you will focus on developing new business opportunities in your assigned territory with companies both in the residential and industrial sectors. You will market and sell access control systems and parking solutions. You will also manage an existing book of business ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and support.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Strategize and execute an area sales plan tailored to corporate objectives, aimed at fostering growth, boosting revenue, and enhancing market presence.
  • Execute direct sales initiatives to pinpoint, assess, and successfully capitalize on sales prospects across both existing and potential accounts.
  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of all offerings, adeptly applying this knowledge to meet diverse customer needs and preferences.
  • Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations, leveraging expertise and insights to engage and persuade stakeholders effectively.
  • Foster enduring connections with a diverse array of stakeholders, encompassing business owners, key decision-makers, technical personnel, and various internal teams, to fortify customer relationships.
  • Conduct thorough on-site client assessments, engaging in walk-throughs to evaluate environmental factors that may impact the suitability and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Serve as the ambassador for the company during pre-bid gatherings, adeptly navigating conflict resolution and troubleshooting alongside customers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments to refine, implement, and optimize the sales process, fostering a cohesive approach towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Champion customer interests, advocating for their needs to drive mutual growth and facilitate the effective implementation of policies and initiatives.
  • Deliver comprehensive sales progress reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, tracking performance against predetermined objectives with precision and clarity.

 

Your background and skills

 

To be successful in this role you need:

  • Proven track record of at least 2-5 years in an outside direct sales role, with tangible achievements aligning with predetermined objectives.
  • Proficient technical acumen and prior experience selling and promoting software and hardware solutions needed. Preferably, parking equipment, software and cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to craft comprehensive business analyses, compelling sales proposals, dynamic presentations, and insightful reports to drive business success.
  • Possesses a hunter sales mentality, characterized by assertiveness, proactive initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive for rapid results.
  • Demonstrates exceptional execution and follow-through capabilities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking, facilitating effective resolution of complex challenges and optimization of business processes.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines and willing to go the extra mile when necessary to meet objectives.
  • This role requires the possession of a valid driver’s license.
