The Position:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the market success of ZwickRoell’s products and services within your designated territory. By collaborating with application engineers, sales support teams, and the service department, you will develop and execute effective sales strategies. Your efforts will contribute significantly to increasing both the volume and profitability of their sales, positioning ZwickRoell as a market leader.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual Territory Management plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Generate and manage new and existing accounts.
  • Present solutions to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives and production managers.
  • Qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and close business deals.
  • Conduct a minimum of 16 on-site customer visits per month.
  • Use CRM for lead management, activity tracking, and reporting.
  • Partner with Application Engineers and other teams to develop and present customer value propositions.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Stay informed on competitor activities and report findings to management.
  • Perform administrative duties related to sales activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., materials science, mechanical/electrical engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales of capital equipment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and consensus among stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ASTM/ISO standards in mechanical testing preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 30-70% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.
