About this Position

The Regional Sales Manager will play a key part of the Canadian sales team, coordinating the sales effort with the Corporate Account/Territory Sales Manager and participates in achieving maximum sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products and related services through a relationship-based approach. The successful candidate we are looking for will thrive off securing business with new customers as well as with long-term key accounts and will report sales leads and obtained market intelligence to the Corporate Account/Territory Sales Manager. Excellent presentation skills include calculating ROI to customers will be key to your success. This role reports directly to the Corporate Account/Territory Sales Manager, Canada.Ability to travel up to 150 days per year is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Consult customers with their processing needs, professionally promoting the benefits of the company’s products and services
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Conduct presentations to a wide range of audiences to promote BAADER equipment and process solutions
  • Communicates advantages over competitive products and promotes overall services to the customer
  • Works closely with the service, project engineering, and development teams
  • Keeps abreast of the company’s product portfolio and how it benefits the customer
  • Communicates market conditions and competitive activities
  • Prepare equipment and project specifications

 

Your Profile

Your Education & Work Experience

  • BA or BS degree in technology, eg mechanical engineering or related discipline (preferred)
  • 3+ years in a commercial position in the food industry (preferred)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the poultry industry and processing technology.
  • Proficient with MS office and CRM software application

Salary range: Base salary: 100-110 plus uncapped commission
