Over the later years Kamstrup has established their business in the US further and as of January last year they also started up production in the US – the only place outside Denmark! On behalf of Kamstrup Water Metering LLC we are now searching for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to cover the north east part of the US (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, NY and New England). The RSM will cover the region from a home office and focus on growing sales, handling own top accounts and working with the distributors in the region. As RSM you report to the Sales Director and you will also work closely together with the rest of the sales team including Solution Manager, Bit Manager, Project Manager etc.
As RSM you will be responsible for direct sales to midsize and larger water utilities in the region. You will also be responsible for working and supporting the network of distributors in your region. The RSM will also be responsible for participating in exhibitions, trade shows and conferences local and national. You will report sales activity in CRM and make monthly written report and prepare quotations and also negotiate prices and/or quotations. Being out in the field you will be asked to follow and report on trends in the market, new product requirements etc.
We are looking for a talented sales executive with documented sales results from the utility industry, a person capable of building long lasting relationships, and creating new business – Kamstrup is the challenger in the market and you need to have a bit of an entrepreneurial drive, you are the maverick!
The RSM will be invited to participate in strategic work and in special tasks initiated by the VPS or the GM and you will participate in sales and cost budget preparation for own region.
The expected travel activity within own region is approximately 3 days per week. You will be invited to join the team for quarterly meetings in the US HQ in Atlanta and travel to Group HQ in Denmark one to twice per year.
