Regional Sales Manager 3D Laser

The role:
The 3D Laser Sales Manager – North America is responsible for leading all sales activities for the 3D Laser business within an assigned North American region. This role combines commercial leadership, team management, and customer-facing responsibility, with full accountability for revenue growth and market development.
The Regional Manager acts as the primary regional leader for the 3D Laser product line and plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and driving profitable growth.
The Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Development
- Own and grow regional revenue for 3D Laser machines with full responsibility for territory development and market penetration.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide competitive analysis, pricing guidance, and contract support to drive win rates.
- Support and, where applicable, oversee lead generation and qualification activities.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of four across sales, applications, and project management.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations; track results against targets and KPIs.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and execution.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales, applications, project execution, and after-sales support.
- Contribute to regional planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Provide market feedback to senior leadership to support product positioning, pricing strategy, and procedural improvements.
- Act as a trusted interface between the regional team and executive leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a sales and leadership role within the machinery/capital equipment industry, specifically with 3D Laser machines (cutting, welding, drilling).
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in the industry.
- Experience with industrial sales processes, long sales cycles, and technical solutions.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams with full authority for personnel decisions.
- This is a client-facing role that requires frequent travel within the Region.
- Ability to build and sustain collaborative internal and external relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team-oriented approach with a focus on accountability and execution.
