Our client, Smartlift, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to increase market shares and lead the sales efforts in the Boston area. Smartlift is a manufacturer of material handling machines and has experienced tremendous growth the past decade in their niche industry for glass manipulators and glass/stone lifting equipment. Smartlift’s focus began with glass but now has many different verticals including granite and marble, aerospace and refrigeration. About this Position

This is a great opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing company in the machinery manufacturing industry for the glazing business. The ideal candidate we are seeking is a highly motivated self-starter with a competitive nature, possess a strong background in sales with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships. You thrive off joining the revolution to eliminate accidents and improving productivity of glazing projects in construction sites and to be part of a business culture that’s fast, ready to execute, honest and innovative. This is a home-based role, and you will be provided with a Mercedes Sprinter van, laptop, phone, and everything else you’ll need to be successful. This position reports to the Country Manager in Omaha, Nebraska. Travel up to 1 week per month is expected, mostly domestic.

 

Role
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Visit clients and prospects in your designated territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations that highlight technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM (HubSpot).
  • Utilize your technical knowledge to explain product features and benefits clearly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in technical fields.

 

Your Profile

Your Education & Work Experience
  • 2 years working experience in the glass and glazing or construction industry (preferred).
  • 3 years’ experience in technical sales, particularly in demonstrating product features and conducting product demos.
  • Proficiency in account management, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite and CRM systems (HubSpot)
