Founded in Italy, Elettrotek Kabel established its North American branch in Parsippany, New Jersey. The company provides a broad range of products, including cables for industrial automation, high-temperature environments, and flexible solutions for demanding industries.

You are a go-getter, self-driven sales professional with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in growing your client base while maintaining current business relationship. To be successful in this role you need prior sales experience within the same or related industries. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory is key for your success.
The role & the main responsibilities:
Lead sales efforts across TN, GA, SC, NC, AL focusing on the development of major accounts in strategic industries, expanding sales with existing clients, generating new leads, and building the company’s market presence.
In this role you will:
- Develop new business opportunities within the territory to meet and exceed sales targets, and expand market share.
- Identify new opportunities in markets, products, and applications. Conduct market and competitor analysis to guide strategic planning.
- Educate and engage new and existing customers on products and services, fostering strong relationships with key clients.
- Recommend and contribute to strategic initiatives that align with company goals.
- Track customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales orders.
- Address issues related to orders, customer complaints, and shipments.
- Ensure pricing aligns with company policy in all transactions.
- Provide timely planning and reporting, including annual budget preparation.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the wire and cable industry highly preferred.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional presence, business acumen, and independent work capability.
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions.
- BA/BS preferred.
- Proficient in CRM and other business applications.
- Commitment to travel (60% of the time).
