Quality Manager

Ramos Arizpe - Mexico

Our client develops and manufactures the components for the automotive industry. The HQ is located in Italy and includes 86 manufacturing plants,12 R&D centers, and 26 application centers in 19 countries, with 43,000 employees and a turnover of 7.9 billion euros in 2016.

Our client is looking to hire a Quality Manager for its plant in Ramos Arizpe(MX). The Quality

The Manager will have a key role in the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quality process, and you will also have client-facing responsibilities to support the Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, prior experience managing a technical team, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering results. He/she will have a team of 20 direct and indirect reports and will be based in Ramos Arizpe. Occasionally the Quality Manager will travel to the U.S. where the North American HQ is

located, and within Mexico to visit clients, occasionally travel to Brazil will be required to understand best practices.


  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Enhance Propulsion Solutions Nafta Quality Mindset.
  • Deploy actions to improve the balance between Cost of Quality and Cost of Poor Quality
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other methodologies to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions(CAPA) based on root cause analysis.
  • Manage and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management.
  • Utilize data to drive decision-making and improve overall quality performance.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in quality management or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF16949
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.Proven decision-making abilities and prior experience managing a team.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Kaizenmethodology Six Sigma, or CQM certifications a huge plus.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both in written and verbal English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
