Our client, Kempower, is seeking a highly motivated Production Engineer to support the company’s expansion into the US market where it will rapidly build a team and scale its operations to better serve current and future US-based customers.
As Production Engineer, you will oversee manufacturing processes to ensure health and safety codes are followed. You will be responsible for supervising and training staff, identifying issues in the production line, troubleshooting equipment, and completing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is an energetic forward-thinking professional who enjoys a fast-paced and fast-growing environment. To be successful in this role you should be an independent thinker and effective problem-solver.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production processes, ensuring quality is done safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with the engineering team to develop plans for continuous improvement
- Diagnose issues in the production line and prove recommendations and training accordingly
- Establish safety procedures and protocols
- Stay informed of technology trends and advancements and communicate with management
- Create production schedules and budgets for various projects
- Analyze facets of production and make continuous recommendations for improvement

What We Expect from You
Your experience & education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of demonstrated engineering experience within the industrial manufacturing sector
- Robust understanding of EV and EV charging solutions is a big plus
- Experience with CAD software
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
