The candidate should have a positive background in multiple shift production / manufacturing / extrusion operations and able to lead a growing plant without daily senior management oversight.  Other US production operations will also report to you. Your Profile:

Successful history of managing multi-shift plants and a person who will be able to successfully perform duties as Plant Manager without daily senior management oversight. You will be required to take ownership and include others when needed and delegate to make it happen. Strong communication skills are a key to success as well as the ability to interact with others in the management team. Being in charge of the entire operation in Atlanta, you will be a key person and part of group management that meets 3-4 times per year in the U.S. and Europe.


Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for plant, personnel, HR, budget, P&L, production, shipping, planning, performance and reporting. Handling ERP is key; Navision Dynamics. Also, you will be responsible for consistent and continuous improvements to product quality and ISO quality management system performance. It will be your responsibility to ensure the plant is operating under regulatory guidelines and requirements (includes safety, quality and HR) and ensure a safe working and productive environment. You will also be responsible for continuous updates on written job descriptions and checklists for training and coaching of shift leaders, operators and workers at Georgia plant and oversight at other US production operations.


Your Qualifications:

  • Excellent people skills and ensure straight communication with the management team both on business opportunities, people related matters, and financial performance. You should be structured and analytical, but also proactive to ensure the staff are anticipate upcoming possible issues and problems, and deal with them early before growing more complex.
  • BA or BS technical degree.
  • 5+ years of plant management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP (Navision Dynamics)
