Job description
To further penetrate the US market, cromox, Inc. is looking for its first National Sales Manager in the US! in this position you will have the opportunity to leverage your contacts and sell top-notch products “Made in Germany” into a variety of industries such as Oil & Gas, Marine, Lifting, Rigging, Food, Playgrounds, and more. You will have the opportunity to develop business in an almost untouched market, with a product that beats its competition by far. At the same time, you are backed by the strong team and solid foundation of Ketten Wälder GmbH in Germany. Your colleagues in Germany will be there to support you along the way – with marketing efforts, lead generations, and service requests. The position will report to the US Manager located in Richmond, VA as well as directly to the Managing Director in Germany. You can work remotely out of your home office anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities
• Increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and maintaining the existing client base
• Developing business models for new opportunities
• Analyzing and identifying customer potential and market trends
• Visiting partners and clients regularly
• Attending international sales meetings in German HQ
• Attending national and international trade shows as required

Candidate profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred OR equivalent professional work experience
• 2-10 years of experience in a technical sales role (ideally selling chains or other lifting products)
• Solid knowledge and established network to the material handling/lifting industry in the United States
• Experience selling into Oil & Gas, Marine, Lifting, Rigging, Food, Playgrounds highly preferred
• Customer-oriented and strong at building lasting relationships
• Independent self-starter with a hunter mentality
• Willing to frequently travel domestically and internationally as necessary
