National Account Executive

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the National Account Executive is responsible for the management and execution of their regions’ sales goals. Responsible for creating a sales strategy to maximize sales opportunities to meet or exceed their revenue and gross profit targets, all while maintaining exceptional customer service and relationships with existing and prospective customers.   

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers 
  • New business development targeting mostly Fortune 1000 companies 
  • Gather customer information, analyze findings, and present product solutions with clear ROI statements 
  • Develop proposals  
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams 
  • Plan and conduct sales meetings, providing professional demonstrations of products and services
  • Prepare annual forecast, objectives, and business plan for sales activity and quarterly review of such business plan 
  • Communicate customers’ needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services to management 
  • Maintain CRM database with account and sales activity information 



  • 10+ years of successful consultative sales experience 
  • Ability to effectively execute business development activities 
  • Experience working with executive level leaders in Fortune 1000 companies 
  • Strong interpersonal/customer relations skills 
  • Ability to seek out opportunities and remain persistent 
  • Understanding of electro-mechanics preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
