As a Mechanical Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Technical design of racking systems and steel structures in accordance with product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, as well as maintaining parts lists in the ERP system (AX).
  • Regular communication with Engineering department in Germany.
  • Creation of assembly, manufacturing, and production drawings.
  • Providing technical and design support to the sales and other relevant departments.
  • Ensuring adherence to target dates for technical processing.
  • Coordinating design activities with the structural analysis department.
  • Collaborating with external consultants, customers, distributors, installation contractors, project and site managers, as well as plant and sales personnel.
  • Supporting on-site assembly teams as needed.
  • Ensuring that product designs meet all applicable industry codes and specifications.

 

REQUIREMENTS
  • To be considered for this position, you should meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
  • Basic to Fluent German language skills are required.
  • 2 years’ experience working with AutoCAD/Inventor or similar CAD software is preferred.
  • Ability to train in Germany for a total of 6 months (2 – 3 months at a time, Valid Passport required)
  • Previous experience in Warehouse automation is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and steel design.
