About the Role
The Marketing Technology Manager is a pivotal position within the Marketing team. You will be reporting directly to the CMO, and you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving company growth.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the technical aspects of our marketing operations, with a focus on data analysis and audience segmentation.
Your Responsibilities
As the Marketing Technology Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Tracking Setup and Maintenance: Configure Google Analytics (GA4) to track website interactions. Manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and control marketing and analytics tags without requiring code changes.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., CRM systems, Merchant Center, and ad platforms) to create a comprehensive view of customer interactions and marketing performance. Ensure data accuracy across systems and integrations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities by querying large datasets using BigQuery and SQL. Generate reports and data visualizations using tools like Looker Studio to present key performance metrics and actionable insights.
- CRO and Audience Segmentation: Use tools such as Optimizely and Hotjar to conduct and analyze A/B tests to improve website user flows and conversion rates. Create and manage user segments based on demographics, behavior, and engagement data to support UI improvements and personalization across various marketing channels.
Your Experience and Education
- 4+ years of experience in Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
- 4+ years of experience in Google Analytics and SQL
- Experience in CRMs, ESPs like Hubspot and Mailchimp, and other marketing platforms is a plus
Your Skills and Traits
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of data layer implementation and event tracking using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, and marketing automation platforms. Ability to leverage this knowledge to optimize data tracking and attribution.
