Our client, Kempower, is seeking a marketing-minded Director of Markets to support the company’s expansion into the US market where it will rapidly build a team and scale its operations to better serve current and future US-based customers. This is a job where you’ll connect current market trends and needs with long-term product portfolio success. As Director of Markets, you will be responsible for developing Kempower’s go to market strategy from a product management perspective in terms of analyzing market needs and trends and supporting product launches. You will also be responsible for overseeing Kempower’s marketing strategy for the U.S. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and hands-on forward-thinking professional with a positive can-do attitude. To be successful in this role you need a marketing mindset along with robust experience in product management and go-to-market strategy development. We expect you to enjoy working independently in a multicultural environment—striving for excellence in all that you do. This role reports to the group CMO in Finland and Managing Director in North America.  Travel of up to 25% is to be expected. 



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive go to market strategy to create brand awareness for Kempower and support the company’s N.A. business activities and objectives
  • Product management: Evaluate product requirements in the market and support product launches
  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing plan to support the go to market strategy.
  • Oversee marketing content development for Kempower’s hardware and software product portfolio as well as a service offering to target industry verticals including “Americanizing” data sheets, and other product- and marketing-related materials
  • Supervise the US marketing team and provide feedback and guidance for continuous improvement
  • Suggest and champion ideas for promotional events and activities to support market activities and execute the best ones efficiently

 What We Expect from You

Your experience & education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or another related discipline. MBA or master’s is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of the power electronics industry or related field
  • 8-10 years of progressive product management experience, go-to-market strategy development, and B2B marketing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM tools
