About the Position

As Key Account Manager, you will foster profitable long-term growth with key accounts across the Americas. You will be responsible for maximizing sales profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction by promoting Optinova’s complete range of products, solutions, and services, strategically balancing short- and long-term business objectives to achieve sustainable success. To be successful in this role, you should have exceptional collaboration skills and a proven track record of maximizing sales growth. This remotely based position reports directly to the VP of Sales Americas. Your responsibilities include:


  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships at various organizational levels within key accounts to align with Optinova’s short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Gain comprehensive insights into customers’ business models and applications to effectively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and execute account management plans tailored to each account’s specific needs and objectives.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with assigned accounts, coordinate promotional activities, and ensure alignment with Optinova’s goals.
  • Lead sales forecasts and revenue projections for assigned accounts.
  • Drive maximum order intake and ensure optimal sales performance and pricing strategies.
  • Analyse successful and unsuccessful deals, customer satisfaction levels, market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends
  • Facilitate alignment between internal teams and customer needs to ensure seamless execution and satisfaction.
  • Achieve targeted turnover, cost control, and profitability levels within assigned accounts.
  • Lead other disciplines such as Project management, Operations, and Customer Service
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Development, and Management teams to advocate for customer needs and contribute to developing win-win strategies.


 What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience, Education, Skills & Traits

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA is a plus.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in technical B2B sales; medical device sales is a big plus
  • Min. 5 years of proven experience in key account management
  • Proven track record of high-level sales with growth maximization
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Robust ability to network and influence key decision-makers.
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well autonomously and with a team.
  • Comfortable with technology & proficient in MS Office 365 Suite and various business software
    (e.g. ERP, CRM)
